Ewok Flyer's Anonymous was originally an X-Wing VS Tie Fighter & X-Wing Alliance Squadron that played WirePlay servers back in 1997 and was retired late 2000.
The Idea behind the name came from the Extended universe of the Star Wars Rouge Squadron books, where Wrath Squadron had an Stuffed Ewok as a mascot and used it in a joke on somewhere where they placed it in the cockpit of an Tie Fighter to make it look like a Ewok was flying the thing. And so i took that joke, and rolled with it, joking that Ewok like to fly and that the squadron is an bunch of Ewoks that like to fly, and are trying to get out of the habit, like Alcoholics where they groups are called Alcoholics Anonymous etc.
